About Us
The New Galaxy Theatre Group was formed in 2008 as a partnership between two friends who shared a passion for the arts. Playwright Malcolm Pelles is a professional writer whose formal training includes a Masters of Fine Arts from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Producer Conroy Harding is a practicing attorney whose clients have ranged from Fortune 500 international conglomerates to individual local artists.
From the beginning New Galaxy’s mission has been to focus on new works exploring themes of contemporary urban politics, culture and human relationships. We believe there is an underserved market of curious young professionals that may not turn to traditional theater as their first choice for entertainment and our goal is to produce sophisticated live theater for that audience.
