New Galaxy Theatre Group presents Slam Theatre 2.0 - The Miseducation, a new show written by Malcolm Pelles, as part of INTERSECTIONS: A New America Arts Festival at the Atlas Performing Arts Center, Feb 23 - Mar 11, 2012.
Slam Theatre 2.0 - The Miseducation is an exciting fusion of sketch comedy, spoken word poetry, and live DJ music inspired by the Lauren Hill's groundbreaking album, The Miseducation of Lauren Hill. This hilarious new show highlights the human need to love and be loved; and explores sex, dating, and romance in the City.
The show is directed by Victoria Murray, stars Katie Culligan, Lauren Du Pree, Baye Harrell, Thony Mena & Jared Murray and features poetry by spoken word artists Bomani Armah & Goldie Deane with turntablist DJ RBI spinning live music on stage.
